I did this in my hometown (Minneapolis-Saint Paul) forum but now i want to see what the Denverite's response to this considering that Winter is clearly right around the corner.

But lets think about the positive things about winter!

So what do you look forward to about winter and what are your favorite thing about winter?

My positives are:

- Garage turns into a extended refrigerator. Love leaving the pop out in the garage leaving more room in the fridge

- Drinking Hot Chocolate after getting home from work

- SNOW! Kids get excited and it looks beautiful! like a winter wonderland. better than looking at dead grass.

- Put the Fire place to use

- Nice Warm bath after coming in from outside

- Throwing the clothes your about to wear in the dryer before you get dressed in the morning! (highly recommended)

- No more sweating (smelly)

I think the best thing about Winter in Denver is that it's NOT Winter in Minnesota Meaning, it's warmer, sunnier, snow doesn't pile up all Winter, and we get breaks/warm days here and there.

Sitting in front of a warm fire on a football Sunday when it is snowing.

Building snowmen/women with my daughter.

Snowboarding.

Chilling my beer in the snow.

Winter help keep insect populations growth under control. If you do not believe it, move to the South.

Winter does minimize the population of people living on the street. If you do not believe it, move to a climate that is warm all year. I grew up near Buffalo and we had very few people making the streets their home.
