I realize that costs for electric/gas/water can vary quite a lot depending on usage but I'm wondering what I should reasonably budget per month for a 4 bdrm house about 2800 sq ft

Thanks

About same size house in Centennial.

Water - $600/year (to Denver Water - provider varies depending on which part of Centennial)

Wastewater - $400/year (ouch!)

Gas + Electric - $2400/year (Xcel)

Family of 4.

Default Water everywhere

For my numbers:
"water" equals incoming and outgoing water
"wastewater" equals storm sewer

Denver Water (denverWater.org) sets rates for incoming potable water.
The City & County of Denver Wastewater Management sets rates for sanitary sewers (Metro Wastewater Reclamation District actually processes the wastewater), but Denver Water (a separate organization) does the billing upon behalf of Wastewater Management.
This is why, for me, water equals both sides.

Denver Wastewater also bills once a year for "Storm Drainage".
This is why, for me, wastewater meant storm sewers.

Confusing? Yes, it is.
