Nothing quite like DuPont Circle in Denver.
Though there are some great condos near downtown Denver, where walking to most of the venues would be easy.

Default Thanks

Thanks everyone. We may need to relocate from DC to Denver and I LOVE Dupont Circle (minus the uncivilized housing prices). We are coming out to Denver for a visit but I am trying to do a little advance work.

I appreciate all of your posts!

Anyone else that has comments please chime in. I'll be checking..

My first real job was in Dupont Circle. If you like high density - Golden Triangle, Lodo; if you like funky/hipster - there's Berkeley, Highlands; if you like character - there's Wash Park, Observatory Park, Park Hill...

LOL @ people posting geographicsl stats, thinking Denver is bigger than DC. I lived in DC for 19 years, and trust me...if you think Denver is bigger than DC, you've obviously never been to the nation's capital. LOL.

Dint get me wrong...I absolutely LOVE Denver and ill probably live here for the rest of my life.

But DC is MUCH bigger than Denver, there is MUCH more culture, a lot more diversity, and A LOT more to do. Nightlife, dining scene, family activities, touristy stuff etc.... DC trumps mile high.

Denver is tiny?
Denver has twice the land area and 99.7% of the pop of DC.
Comparing population and land area of municipalities is completely irrelevant. Most of the Denver city limits is suburban in terms of density and character. You need to compare metropolitan areas as a whole and compare the relative sizes & population densities of urban city center neighborhoods.

No, I don't. I was being pedantic.
