I visited Denver over twenty years ago as a kid. I remember staying overnight at a hotel and there was a Pizza Hut within walking distance across the street. This may have been a Holiday Inn but I'm not sure. They had an indoor pool. It was a major street, possibly Colfax. I've looked on both their websites and haven't had much luck.

Does anyone in Denver know what area I am talking about. Are either of these places still in existence? Thanks.

Denver is not even the same place it was twenty years ago. The metro area has grown so much, expanding in all directions, and the city itself has changed a lot since then, with a lot of old buildings knocked down and new ones going up. Colfax is still colfax, but even it has changed a lot. Old motels on Colfax are a dime a dozen-- you'd have to give more information about the location for us to even guess what you're talking about. There's also a lot more dining options than Pizza Hut.

I know that it was near Aurora. The hotel was on the north side of the street (Colfax?) and the Pizza Hut was on the south side, either right across from it or close by.

Is it just notalgia that you are trying to find this particular hotel?

Maybe it was on 6th Ave. I know of an old Pizza Hut at 6th and I-225. There might be a hotel on the other side of the street. That Pizza Hut is now some other restaurant.
