Hello... I just accepted a position with a company in the Centennial/Lone Tree area and starting Feb 1. I am moving from FL, and do not have much time to scope the areas out myself. I really like Castle Pines area from what I've seen, Cherry Creek and surrounding area (too $$$ of course). I've read a lot of Highlands Ranch, but fear it could be out of our price range... Centennial would be nice for the commute, but again I'm concerned about pricing. South Aurora seems more affordable, but I really fear ending up in a higher crime area potentially since there's not much time to investigate and explore...Any suggestions for good areas with 20-30 min commute max. and is recommended for young families?? Any particular communities I should be looking into?

Targeting a townhome/house rental with the following specs...
$1300 Rent
3BR - 2BTH
approx. 1500 sq ft

Would really appreciate any advice, as we have to make a very quick decision.

Thanks!
