What do you feel are the best real estate websites in the Denver area? Where I currently live now I have one that sends me daily updates of new homes and price changes based upon a specific criteria I entered ie.(price). Any ideas?

Default It just got better

Zillow - Real Estate, Homes for Sale, Recent Sales, Apartment Rentals
Trulia - Real Estate, Homes for Sale, Sold Properties, Apartments for Rent
COhomefinder | Colorado's most popular real estate website (lots of search criteria)
Homes for Sale in Colorado | Metrolist MLS (completely revamped as of yesterday)

Two big strengths of Zillow are:
1. show all properties, not just those for sale
2. shows asking price history for a property which can help you judge the desperation of the seller

ReColorado list open houses, but I don't know what percentage of agents enter that info.

I love websites as I build them for a living, but nothing can replace driving to the neighborhood of interest and walking (not driving) around.

These are all great websites. I also like Redfin.com and sometimes if you find a house you like, it helps to go directly to the website for the listing agent or listing company. In some cases, there are additional pictures and more information.

For instance, when my neighbor's house was on the market, Zillow, COhomefinder, etc., had 9-10 pictures, but the listing agent's website had about 15 more photos that weren't included on the other sites.

Metrolist's new website makes finding homes easier - Metrolist® has officially re-launched Homes for Sale in Colorado | Metrolist MLS, offering Colorado buyers, sellers and brokers the ability to search for properties and open houses, find local real estate agents and coordinate home buying searches with a broker. The site's search engine incorporates a variety of tools to help in the home buying process, including an aerial-view map search with rooftop accuracy and parcel line overlays, custom searches tailored to regional and market specifics, and enhanced listing information with access to school and neighborhood data.

Any member broker can set up a email new listing/price change daily search.

Don't forget the old standby of realtor.com which covers most of the nation.

Even better, try biking! Cover more ground faster, but still slow enough to really investigate the area. I've been hunting around the neighborhood I rent in now, and hope to pull the trigger sometime this year =)

I've heard about a real estate company started in Boulder, Pedal to Properties, that might be just your speed! (This isn't a recommendation, I know nothing about them, know no one who has used them, have only heard about their concept.)
