I wouldn't recommend Castle Rock unless you are very family oriented. For a younger couple (I'm making assumptions I guess) without children it would not be a good fit. That is why my wife and I moved from there - the kid part, not the younger couple part!

Also, CR isn't walkable at all. They have a nice little downtown area with a few good restaurants but not a typical walkable community.
