I, for one, don't care about the coffee - I make a better cup of the stuff at home and don't have to pay through the nose for it. If I need coffee while at work I have a Keurig that makes a cup that is almost as good and even at $.50 per cup is still cheaper than DD or Circle K.

Now, gimme a chocolate honey-dipped (donuts are OK, but a box of the Munchkins will earn bonus points) and I am one happy dude.

I know some people do I was just saying in general. I think it's like 70-80% of their revenue is from coffee

Have you ever been to the Bagel Stop in Parker? They make pretty mean bagels. I haven't had one in 3 years though. I sure hope they are still there!!

Fair 'nuff; given the markup on coffee I'd guess you're right.

As a NH transplant, I am beyond happy to hear of the news of DD coming to Denver! I have made the 120 mile round trip coffee run to CO Springs every few months for my DD fix! I wish they werent all going North of I-70 but its sure gonna cut down on my coffee run commute! And its not about the donuts for me...its all about the coffee.

Living near Boston, it's hard to imagine not having a Dunks within a half mile or so. A few years back we were in Phoenix and had to drive 5 miles to DD...so foreign to a New Englander!

Anyone heard any news on this? In the February 2012 dp article, the owner says that "[o]ur goal is definitely to get a store open this calendar year." I can't find anything on DD's website though, and haven't heard much in the way of news or specific locations (i.e., actual addresses) since the initial article.
