I plan on coming out to Denver this summer for a few Rockies games. The Magnolia Hotel downtown looks like a nice place....good location, etc. Would anyone agree with this? Thanks!!!

The website looks really nice, but I never had occasion to stay in a hotel downtown since I lived a few miles away. I suggest checking the comments on Trip Advisor.

Yes. The Magnolia would be a great place to stay. The location, rooms, value, amenities -- always gets excellent reviews on travel sites.

Everything I have heard about the Magnolia is great, but I have never stayed there. I have; however, stayed at the Residence Inn at the other end of the block and the location is great! It is walking distance to Coors Field, light rail is a block away and you can walk to the 16th Street Mall and all of its options in just a couple of minutes.

Yep, my husband and I stayed there a few years ago, and it was delightful. Ask for a room away from 16th Street--that was the only bad thing. We could hear the dinging of the shuttle buses at night. We got a free upgrade to a suite by booking on their site--something to look into. Have fun!
