If you want to live in the Cherry Creek School District, there is a subdivision called Hampton Hills it is in Englewood. They are older homes, mostly ranch style and are on the edge of the Cherry Creek school district. This area should be in your price range.
We owned our first home in this neighborhood. It is a great location close to downtown and the Cherry Creek Mall.
If you want to consider a private school in Denver, this is a good one and is also very close to Hampton Hills.
