Default Idiot in neighborhood - options

Recently, a young punk (16-18, I'd guess) and his little Honda Civic POS have invaded our neighborhood. His car is SO loud for being a 4 cylinder, that I assume he doesn't even have a muffler on. His family is the only 'white trash' family in the neighborhood and don't respond well to others. Do I have any options (law enforcement, etc) to get this idiot's car off the road? My windows LITERALLY rattle his car is so loud.

Frustrated beyond belief. I live in south Aurora.

You might call the cops non-emergency and inquire about noise ordinances. Not sure that will help make the problem go away, but might give you some ammunition.

Alternatively, you and your neighbors could pick a time to blast polka music at them when they're around...maybe they'll get the hint ;-)

Smash his windows out and toss in some gasoline, burn his car to the ground. Maybe that will get the point across.

A fun thing to do is get a valve stem wrench, then you can take the valve stems out of his tires. They will deflate and he can't even fill them back up

There is a Mythbusters episode about the common car things like that, but like none of those actually work

Bleach in the gas sure did though
