Is it possible to find new construction homes (4/2.5) within 20 min driving time to University of CO within $175K to 250K close to the western side laKewood/ wheat ridge?
I havent found any such subdivisions or bulders.
What is the actual commute time from Highlands Ranch to the University, incl all rush hour traffic summer and winter, also public transportation?
What is the scenery like in highlands ranch? i assume its all pretty much new. what about natural beauty...any mt. views or is it all flat?

There is a new subdivision in the planning stages in the Rooney Valley, in far western lakewood, near Morrison. I believe the development is named "Solterra." However, this is a very rare exception. The west side of the metro area is almost completely built out.

The homes in that area are likely to be extremely expensive, considering it's one of the last pieces of buildable land left in the western half of the metro area. Probably not in your price range. But, there are literally hundreds of older homes that would be in your price range.

Which University do you mean? Do you mean UCD or CU Boulder? You cannot drive to Boulder from Lakewood/Wheat Ridge in 20 min. You can barely drive to UCD downtown in that length of time. You price range is a little low for what you want, also.
