You might want to mention where you are going to be working and how big of a place you need. There are options in that price range in many suburbs like Aurora, Glendale, Lakewood or Thornton for 1 bedrooms and maybe small 2 bedroom places.

Padmapper.com will help you get started. It will not show EVERY place that is available, but will give you an idea of general prices in each neighborhood.

Be prepared. Denver is becoming more expensive by the hour.

Default Brighton, Colorado

Just wanted to know how hard is it to find a place to live in Brighton? Looking for a house 1-2 bedroom, anywhere within 15 minutes of Brighton, pet friendly, and around $800. Also, are people friendly there and how's the economy, ie price of gas, milk, average rent? Have tried to look in online newspaper "The Brighton Blade" for houses and there are not many listed at all, any ideas where to look. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

There is no "milk" in Brighton, only "leche".

House rentals are few and far between and every rental can sometimes entertain multiple offers. You should be prepared for background check, 1x month security deposit, et al.

I tend to stay out of the Brighton area unless I have court at the Adams County Courthouse. It's far too depressing up there.
