hi, you may want to look at highlands ranch. it is very close to centennial and everything is walkable here! we moved here when my son was 10 and he loves it here!

What does he live about it? What do you love? Also, we're a mixed race family-- would we be comfortable in Highlands Ranch? Is there a downtown...what is walk able?

no, there isnt a "downtown" but there is a town center. there are tons of activities for kids and we have 4 amazing rec centers in highlands ranch. there are also kids everywhere here, so making friends was very easy for my kids. i dont think being a mixed raced couple is an issue at all. i find this whole denver area pretty accepting of everyone.
