Default little dogs not popular in Colorado?

In California almost everyone has their little dog with them, I have yet to see even ONE person in Colorado with a dog? Are dogs not allowed in stores or restaurants? I am afraid I would get kicked out if I brought my dog with me anywhere here in Colorado. Why is it so different here?

Huh? There are little dogs and big dogs everywhere. Most of my neighbors have dogs, I have a little dog. I see them in Home Depot all the time. But where exactly do you want to take your dog? I moved here from California and it was no different than here in CO.

Sounds like a pretty generic statement, I've been to LA a few times and haven't seen anything like this
