We're moving to Highlands Ranch in a few weeks and I need to enroll my 4 and 2 year old in preschool. I heard wonderful things about Denver Christian, but not much about Cherry Creek Christian School. Also, interested in hearing about anyone's experiences with Heritage School in HR. Thanks in advance!

My friend is using little peoples preschool for her 9 month old. She really likes it but it's out near Roxbourgh.

I am renting in highlands ranch right now and my 4 year old is in the little cougars.

I don't know much about the ones you have mentioned, but for what it's worth, my oldest went to Christ Lutheran preschool on Broadway after several people recommended it to me. My 2nd child is starting at one of the Douglas County school district preschools that have also come highly recommended. The child to adult ratio is very good and the cirriculum is supposed to be great. Good luck!

Cherry Hills Preschool is really great. Heritage is an interesting school. The Principal is newer and not making many friends with the parents. The test scores are great but the school is over- crowded and there are some concerns among parents that don't seem to be getting addressed. As for the Preschool, the teacher is not very warm and fuzzy. Mrs. Brickley is older and very strict. She usually has openings for a reason.

Denver Christian is great, Cherry Hills is great, you might look into Christ Lutheran if you want private. They were rated #1 last year for Highlands Ranch. If you want to participate in the public pre-schools look at Copper Mesa which has one of the best preschool teachers Ms Celeste. Also Stone Mountain has a great teacher in Ms Sue. Since Douglas county has open enrollment you are free to enroll at any school you want.

If you are looking for strong academics in Preschool you might look at the new Charter school Ben Franklin Academy. Their preschool is getting great reviews and their kids do science everyday but still seem to have fun.

Best of luck and welcome to Highlands Ranch!
