Default Hammonds candy tour

Ive never been and wanted to know who has gone if you liked it. Wanted to know if it was something kids would be interested in.

It's interesting but very short. I'd say it depends on the age of the kids. It's really more something to do if you're in the area already and just stop by. Planning a day around it? Probably not.

I'd think that might be a bit young to be interested in a video on the history of Hammond's. The rest of the tour might be ok...free hat IIRC (like Krispy Kreme) and guide gives and explanation of the process of making hard candies by hand, while you watch through a window. That's about it. You know your child best. I enjoy Hammond's candies and have been on the tour both in the original location and in the current location. I don't know if my kids at 6 would have thought it was that exciting...hard to say. I honestly can't remember how old my kids were when we went the first time.

I took my kids when they were 5 (9 now), and they still remember it. It's not the most exciting tour in the world, but it's unique.

I second the motion on if you are in the area then it is worth it. Not that exciting to make a day of it.
