My husband and I are looking to move from Minneapolis to Denver. Does anyone have a name of a good head hunter?

I'm not familiar with headhunters in the area, but, if you and your husband are in the Engineering, IT, or any of the major technical fields, I do know a company that is hiring in Denver.

depends on your field- most recruiters, particularly with search firms/agencies are specialized

We are looking to relocate to Denver in the Spring but sooner if my husband could find employment. He is an IT Manager here, he is looking for CIO, CTO, IT Management or Director positions. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have tons of places you could search. I assume you check all the typical job hunter places like Monster, etc. You can try jobing.com, too. I worked for IBM in Boulder. I could maybe find someone he could talk with.

Default Looking for a head hunter in Denver area?

Post your resume on Monster.com.

I was recently looking for a new job and was inundated with calls and emails from recruiters, just from my Monster.com resume.

One of them found my the job I accepted.

Good luck!!

Default Looking for a head hunter in Denver area?

Join the Yahoo group: rmiug-jobs. This is the Rocky Mtn. Internet User Group Jobs board.

Also, check these out for IT jobs:
International IT Jobs. The Best Tech jobs,IT jobs online
Dice.com - Job search for Technology Professionals

You could also check out:
Yahoo! HotJobs - Thousands of jobs. Find the right one. (http://hotjobs.yahoo.com - broken link)
The Denver Post/Rocky Mtn News job postings are listed here.

I would still also use Monster, most of the IT recruiters in the Denver area parse Monster.

Thanks for the links, we will definitely check them out. I keep telling him to put his resume on Monster... I don't know what he's waiting for... :-)

I'd be interested in knowing who that company is.

Thanks,

Default craigslist

you can also post your resume on craigslist...go to denver section and at the bottom there is a section titled RESUME....I used to be a head hunter in Dallas and that was one of our tricks...we looked at the resumes to find good applicants to represent...
best part about craigslist...it is FREE

good luck!
