Default Youth Soccer Clubs Near Broomfield, CO

We are moving to Broomfield and are looking for a soccer club for our 8 year old son. At some point he will want to play competitive. I have looked into Trebol and Broomfield Soccer Club. Does anyone know if there is a benefit to joining one or the other? Are there any other clubs worth looking into in the area? Thanks!

I cannot comment on the sporting differences between the two at all but can offer that I believe Broomfield plays most of their games at the Broomfield Commons which is a large, very nice complex in Broomfield surrounded by housing developments and open space area... we used to live within easy walking distance of it. Very well maintained. The families that had children in soccer there had nothing but positive things to say. (This is also the area where they have city festivals and fourth of July fireworks for Broomfield.)

I think Trebol plays in Boulder, Lafayette and Louisville etc at many more fields.

I can't comment on the two soccer clubs other than my sons play against them. I would think that it would be important to do some research into the costs between the two club for competitive soccer. It's not so important at your son's age now, but as he gets older (U11 and up), the costs can vary by a couple hundred dollars between clubs. My boys play competitively for Stingers Soccer Club and they have friends that play for Rush. Our program is $500 less expensive.

My son did Broomfield Soccer Club and it was very unorganized. They only do practice 30 minutes before the game, and parents are the coaches which is great, but they don't seem to actually learn the game.
