Default Broomfield to Buckley Commute

We are moving to CO, spouse is working in Boulder and me more than likely Buckley AFB. I have looked thru a few threads but not gotten a good feel for my specific situation so if I were to live in Broomfield (just trying to pick a good midway point) and commute to Buckley AFB, during normal rush hour, say 7AM, what would the commute time be? Thanks in advance!

I've never driven to Aurora during rush hour because it is hellish. I-25 southbound from about 104th down to I-70 is rough. I-270 is almost always busy and it is only 2 lanes. During non rush hour it takes me about 30 minutes. (I had my baby in Aurora so I'm familiar with the drive). I take I-25 as opposed to Hwy 36 since I live closer to the interstate. Either one I think would be pretty bad. Parts of Broomfield are very close to the toll road which is empty but it is empty because it is quite pricey.

The Stapleton area might be nice for you especially if your wife wouldn't commute during rush hour. I wouldn't recommend anything near I-25 south of around 104th Ave especially on the east side. The nicer areas right off of Hwy 36 start around 92nd and on up to Boulder.

I've been told by soneone that takes that route daily that it's about 45min. More if there is bad weather. Less if you take the toll road.

NW Parkway/E-470 would get you there in about half an hour...for a fee of about 6 dollars... But from Broomfield to Boulder is only about 20 minutes in rush hour.
