Default Where to retire in Denver area w/$600K house budget.

My wife and I want to retire to a safe, modest-to-upscale
area around Denver,
suburban with supermarkets, services, restaurants all
within a few miles. We would like a house around $600-$650K
with 3-4 bedrooms, at least 2000 square feet.
Any recommendations on areas
or specific housing developments would be appreciated. Thanks!

The Pinery in Parker would be my choice. If you like a mountain feel you'll need to go West a bit.

You would have a large selection of homes on the east side of I-25 between Belleview and Arapahoe Road, east of DTC Blvd/Yosemite. For example, Cherry Creek Vista, Cherry Creek Hills, Sundance, Hills at the Vista, Hills West. Definitely close to supermarkets, restaurants, services, the light rail, and Cherry Creek Reservoir.
