We looked at Buckley Ranch. I don't like the location for our commute. It seemed to far removed for us - for my husband going to SE Denver and me to downtown. The surrounding area is not so pleasant. But homes are priced great. I can see why you'd be looking at it. I might give it a second look. Can you PM me and tell me about your realtor/broker situation? Which builder are you looking at?

When I-70 backed up, I looked at my GPS and found a few alternatives, which was kind of cool. It means I'll have a variety of ways to get to home/work.

I agree on food/shop/eating - there's Northfield, Aurora Mall, and Park Meadows. Which I just discovered last weekend, much to my husband's chagrin.
Central Denver is really lacking in the "chain gym" category. With gyms, it's one time I like/prefer chains so you have workout options in different areas and cities. I can't believe there is no Ballys's/24 Hour Fitness downtown! There is one over at Alameda and Colorado Blvd., but it's very difficult to get to in rush hour and too small/crowded.

I worked downtown for a year and a half and there just wasn't a gym option for me, so I had to do it in the evenings. I've heard rumors that 24 Hr. might build one in Northfield, but I think that's only a rumor.

Oooh, a 24 hr in Northfield would be awesome!!!

I work out in the evenings, because my shift is early morning. I love chain gyms too, for the amenities.

There's gotta be something for me - and I will find it! The 24 Hr on Alameda is hard to get to, and is also super busy. I can't believe we don't even have a CorePower Yoga downtown.

I found a gym in the Bouvellon (or however you spell it) condos, but they wanted something lik $200 a month I only pay $35 ish for 24 Hr. for the two of us.

The Beauvallon I think it is. Yeah, they are super pricey. For awhile they kept changing owners/names. We pay $100 for the two of us at Lifetime, but that's like a resort. Can't wait for this summer when I spend my weekends there.

See now, that's what I'm going to miss. I mapped the Parker LTF and it's 20 miles away. That's doable, right???

There's apparently a 24 hour fitness at 512 South Chambers Road- 10 miles/20 minutes or so from High Point?

I'm desperate. LTF is like a resort, a megaplex. So much more than a gym. The outdoor pool has an adults only area, and adults only hot tub spa. Huge pools are both outdoors and indoors. They have an Aveda salon (massage!), a LTF cafe complete with nutritional info on their menu - all healthy. A juice bar by the pool. The locker rooms are huge, super clean. Spa like showers. A eucalyptus steam room. Sauna.

Oh and did I mention that their vast machines are on a floor upstairs, where no kids are allowed? Childcare on floor 1? Two group exercise studios, dedicated yoga studio, dedicated cycling studio.

Hmmm... I've never been in a LTF. I didn't know they were such an experience! 24 Hr. does have nice soap dispensers and free hand sanitizer
