I am thinking of moving to denver. My wife is from aurora and we live in Jacksonville Florida, which is where I grew up. This is my delema. I am a finance mngr at a car dealership and wonder if the market in denver is the same. We are also thinking about buying a foreclosure to flip in 1 1/2 to 2 years. Are these good things to go after in the denver area right now. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Default jobs & housing

Hi - there are many car dealerships on Arapahoe Rd. in Centennial, close to the Denver Tech Center, and on Broadway. It is also a buyer's market with lots of fix and flip opportunities. Good luck!

One thing that blew me away about the car biz in CO, THEY ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS !!! What is that? a huge plus, IMO coming from a retail sales background, Sundays are a tough day to get/have off.

On the flipping I would think waitinga year or two to start would wiser. get to know the market and your future potential customers. What looks like a great deal in FLA may not be in CO

This is absolutely ridiculous. Why is this? I think it is the same for real estate. Most people have two precious weekend days to get out and spend time shopping. What's up?

CO Blue Laws. No Liquor or Cars on Sundays.

Since I was showing downtown/LoDo/uptown/Riverfront today, from 10:30 to 5:30 - I was "open" and so were the real estate companies I called to set the showings. Plus the few new builds with open houses...and the throngs milling about LoDo.

Parking is free downtown too on Sundays.
