My husband and I are being relocated from Houston to Denver this Spring. We are young professionals looking to move close to Downtown. We do not have children at this time, but will in the near future. We are looking to move into areas that are safe and good for young families. We are looking to purchase a home quickly (350k-500K). We are looking at Park Hill, Hilltop, Lowry side of town but are open to any suggestions - pros and cons.

We are also looking for suggestions on good local gyms.

Thanks in advance!

Stapleton, Stapleton, Stapleton. Actually, any of the areas you mention are great. Stapleton and Hilltop have the best schools on the east side, but there are far more young families in Stapleton. Park Hill has always been one of my favorite neighborhoods, but prices are really climbing in that hood.

Qi is a very popular local gym w/ locations in Lowry and near City Park.

Good luck!

Denver has many neighborhoods. I would prefer Stapleton because its closer to Downtown and it has all of your important daily stores and things like that. If you want to move anywhere in the area, I prefer that you move to southern Aurora or Highlands Ranch. The closest mall to southern Aurora is the Southlands Mall. Aurora is also closer to the airport if you use E-470 (toll highway). Denver is also warm in spring so it won't be that much of a difference than in Houston
