I visited the Idlewille development in Parker by Village homes and I love the feel of the area and everything about the quality of living there. All the research I have done about Parker comes up positive. I hope to be in Colorado next spring. Does any one know more about this area? Is there something I am missing?

It's a pretty neat development. There will be a high school nearby in the future -- could be a traffic concern, perhaps. Seems like great amenities, kind of a mini highlands ranch. I've been impressive with Village Homes as well. It's not all the close to anything, so just be prepared for a pretty significant commute if you work in Denver.

I helped a city-data poster buy in Idylewille late last year. Village builds a nice home and nicer communities.
I think the high school will be a plus - the entrance will be off Hilltop - most residents will either go north through Canterberry or turn right at Hilltop. I love all the community events. The sales staff is knowledgeable and unlike other builders, return my phone calls. There is are newer shops along Parker - Target, Walmart, Kohl's, Home Depot, Texas Roadhouse ![]() |

Thanks for the info. I have been visiting family in colorado for the last 15 years so I am casually knowledgeable of the area. I figured if I had to drive to denver I would have an hour commute to work. I cork in construction so I am out on the roads by 6 am.

Hey AH,
We did not get out there but we liked Canterberry (love that spelling) and Stroh Ranch. We are thinking of settling in Stonegate though. We liked the floorplans of the houses the best and the privacy of the lots. Good school there too. Being from San Ramon too we're not as into the split rail fences or no fences and tiny yards that many of the newer places have. RGG |
