Rosarita Mexican Style TV dinner is WAY better than the food there.
So you were a diver there. The Star attraction for sure! Have you ever seen a patron get ill in that pool while you worked there? I don't think I'll eat the food there again, even if I am Mucho Borracho. |

Pueblo, Trinidad & Alamosa, those towns have lots of old fashion, probably 1st or 2nd generation hispanics that live there. So the food and tradition is passed on. Now in Denver, there is going to have some great Mexican restaurants, but they are hole in the walls and are probably on the poor'ER side of town, which I am sure of. When I lived in Colo Spgs, we only found one and I mean one nice Mexican food and that was off of Nevada, which at the time had hookers hanging out outside. Just in Texas or even here in Austin, you can spit and you'll hit a good Mexican restaurant. lol |

yes ... several loncheras are along the Colorado Blvd industrial area past I-70 ... by a couple of tire warehouses, distribution centers .... I don't remember their names, but the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Easily on par with the best in SLC.

I beg to differ with those who say there is no mexican food here that compares to Texas. I have spent a lot of time in Texas and there are a couple of Mexican places that I think might be better than TX. Tacqueria Patzquaro on 32nd ave in the Highlands and Tacos Jalisco on 38th in the Highlands. Both excellent and very authentic. Check em out and let us know what you think!
