I like a place called Benny's its great food but mexican food really is in the eye of the beholder. What somebody might like others might not, so its all a matter of opinion. I think after a few margaritas anything will taste good... Couldn't tell you bout fast food though I don't eat it..

We always loved Benny's.
Some prefer Las Margaritas or Bluebonnet. I thought Bluebonnet was overrated. We had some good meals at Senor Pepes, an east Denver institution, and there is always the Satire on East Colfax. |

try, i think its called jack n grill its between 38th and 32nd on federal also try el alamo bakery they have decent mexican food on 38th before lowell as a rule of thumb if you go to a mexican restaurant in denver and they only have 1 type of salsa get out of there and if you order a chile relleno you might get an egg roll and as far as a greasy spoon the denver diner i think its on colfax downtown

wow that is a large sum of money.. but you are in luck since, at least in this area, mexican food tends to be more economical than say a european/ american fusion restaurant..

The Great Divide on South Broadway, a bit south of Evans.
Last I heard it was still there. My husband-to-be and I met there in 1978, on my birthday. Great burgers: My Brother's Bar on 2376 15th. |
