I miss Godfathers Pizza.

The last good pizza I had was a couple of months ago when I was in Ithica NY. It was about 1:00 am, I was starving and barely knew my way to the hotel. I drove around town and saw some college kids walking around so I figured some bars were still open. I found a Pizzeria that was open and I was amazed! Just like the Bronx!

Hey Mike, doesn't Colorado Springs got a Fargos Pizza that's kind of like Shakey's? One there on Platte?

No. The photo really doesn't look that good I know, but I scarfed that pizza down right after that and I can remember how good it was.

You ever get so hungry like when you waited too long to eat (doesn't happen to me often enough) and your saliva glands over-produce and your jaw actually gets sore?

I had to fight through that while I was eating this pizza.

Yes, just got back. Really excellent pizza. Sorry, no pix.

Fargo's was built in 1973 by 2 brothers who wanted to build a temple to pizza. They succeeded. Place reminds me of a saloon near The Alamo with all the mounted hunting trophies (Moose, Bison, Elk, Deer, etc). It has all that, and is two stories just like that saloon. They've a player piano (not terribly good) and the people dress in period costumes, the young ladies look really good in those old dresses with all the lace. Yummmm.

s/mike

Have you ever had pizza at Do Drop Inn(sp?)? There's 2 in Pueblo. I ate at the one near 4th and loved it. Best pizza ever. Nice place too. They did a really good job remodeling the place.
