What happened when you went to Google Maps for Denver and then clicked on "Find Businesses" and entered on or more of these businesses?

You mean "Old Chicago" -- its got really good pizza and there are quite a few locations.
Godfathers used to be around but not anymore (I think). That last one I went to was in Boulder.
Anthony's and Beau Jo's are populate Colorado pizza joints.
Back in the 80's, I used to live for Roman Village Pizza in Boulder, but they eventually went under.
I remember going to shakeys pizza back in MN -- very cool place. I don't ever recall seeing them in CO. Peter Piper? Never heard of them.

Years and years ago there was a Shakey's right in Cherry Creek North; they departed years ago when the area began to be a bit more upscale.

Not sure any Shakey's are left. Back in the early 1970's, they were a place to go for very good pizza, a pitcher of beer, and to hear someone banging out ragtime or jazz on old upright piano's. For a while there in Fairfax, Va, we had a famous jazz pianist, down on his luck, who played at Shakey's. Wish that format was still around.
