I, as allot of others on here, am planing on moving to Denver in November. Some things i have read on here are confusing me a little so i figured i would go ahead and ask. I am currently in Tulsa OK, the average rent around here, for some place you wont get shot in at least, is an average of 800 bucks. that seems to be from what i have found in my research a decent price in Denver is as well or am i wrong?

Also what is the cost of gasoline around there. Here its 3.29 right now. We are usually the cheapest but lately everything is going up really really fast around here so i am not sure anymore, One thing that is not going up however is the wages. The taxes here are outrageous as well. Basically Oklahoma is a heart beat away from falling into Anarchy.

Denver was not my choice. I went to school at wyotech about 2 hours north of Denver in Laramie WY in 2005. I wasnt impressed with Denver then but it looks like allot has changed since then. I know allot has changed here and its been for the worse. Anyway from what i have seen and looked up Denver is the only place within days drive of here that fits he bill. i have kids that i dont want to be more than days trip from. Those two things believe it or not can give me a real good gauge and what it will be like, Thanks for any help.

Gas prices vary, but usually the cheapest is at Costco or Bradley. If you have a King Soopers or Safeway card you can save three cents or ten cents a gallon, depending on your spending at the store.

There are websites that will give you gas prices when you search in a specific location or area.

800 is not going to get you as far in Denver as it will in Tulsa. Not even close.
