the soothsayers say 2012 oct the ocean is going to take the coasts. so if you are in denver now you might be near the ocean soon and not know it.
personally i am taking swimming lessons and am going to get some fins soon.

Those are nice photos.

All those beach scenes, sports bars, lawn chairs.....I'd be bored in about a half an hour. When I was 15 back in the mid 1970s I was at the beach just about every day. We'd body surf, boogie board, and party on the beach. Today, I just sit there, it's almost too bright to read books (15th century technology). I'll go in the ocean for about 15 minutes. Now what? What do you do for the next six hours? Just sit there? No internet. No City-Data forums. No information. I need information, and I need it now.
