New exciting changes happening in Denver???
Hello Denver! I feel like there is always a new building going in Downtown/Lodo or a new restaurant coming to town. I personally always get really excited about these things and thought maybe we could share information about exciting changes coming to Denver. I have a few examples and hope you all can share some as well.
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences
Paquini's Highland is opening a new bar next to their restaurant
Tacqueria Patzquaro is building a rooftop deck and patio!!!
Something new will be coming to the intersection of Federal and 38th - they just tore down the gas station there.
Crepes N Crepes just went in at 15th and Larimer
I also heard there was some very upscale boutique going in at Cherry Creek - is it Prada??
Osteria Marco just opened in LoDo and it is great!
Please share if you have information or know more exciting new developments in Denver!!

4 seasons is just one of the many projects going up downtown. Actually 14th street has been littered with construction as of recently. There is a new 40 story building called spire that is going up literally down the street from the 4 seasons. Due to some financial problems they had to temporarily stop construction but I have heard some positive things and that it should conitinue soon. Also another tower is going up soon just across the street from the 4 seasons also. This one will be the tallest condo building in Denver when done and also one of the tallest ones in the western US. These as well as the crazy building going on all around downtown is brining in billions of dollars of investment down there and in a few years it will be almost a completely different town. It is an interesting time to live here with all this new investment it is really transforming the city. Just take a drive from highlands ranch to downtown and look at all of the construction cranes up and you will see what I am talking about

If you're interested in tracking downtown developments, there's a couple of useful resources.
First, the blog and website of Denverinfill; the owner of this website tracks all developments on downtown on each block, as well as regularly updates the blog.
DenverInfill.com: Downtown Denver and Its Urban Infill and Redevelopment Projects
Also, on Skyscraperpage forum, on the mountain west section, there's lots of discussion about denver projects:

I found out more about the new Pasquini bar in the Highlands -
They said they hope to have the bar open the first few weeks of January. It will be called Zio Romolo's and features an Art Deco bar along with a
couple garage doors for a pseudo patio. Sounds great!!!

Landmark- down in Greenwood Village- HW Home is going in, Lime, Sparrow, new comedy works, Ella Blu, few other restaurants
Cherry Creek North is changing... not sure if all for the better. I read in paper today about Chinook Tavern moving down to landmark. It's owners said CCN was not for just the rich... it is turning into a "super wealthy" enclave. I'm sure Prada, Hermes, Chanel are not far behind.... But hey, if Olde South Gaylord (changing for the better in it's own right) can take some of the more eclectic CCN shops and restaurants that can't afford the rent anymore so be it!
I too am excited about downtown! Four Seasons, et...al.

I also just figured out what the new upscale boutique will be in cherry creek...
Hermes, the French fashion house, will open its first Colorado store in the retail component of the new NorthCreek development in Denver's Cherry Creek North shopping district.
Located at First Avenue and Detroit Street, NorthCreek is a $100 million mixed-use project being built by Western Development Group LLC of Denver. The development's retail area is called The Shops at NorthCreek.
