Why are Boulder restaurants on a list of Denver's 25 best? Personally I think Frasca is overrated.

Apparently 5280 chose to use the United States Office of Management and Budget's definition of the Denver metro area, which includes Boulder.

Thanks for posting SkyDog! I've been to about 2/3 of the list and have been meaning to get to the other 1/3. Guess I need to get on that ASAP . So happy to see Bittersweet made the top 5, definitely my all time favorite in Denver of the last few years.

Gosh, I've been to almost none of those!! I need to get out more!! Thanks for that list. BTW, didn't the guy who started Cholon win a bunch of awards? That one's high on my list to try.

Don't feel bad; I've never even HEARD of any of these.

But I need to keep in mind that any list of "bests" is subject to the same zaniness as are those "best places to live" lists, i.e., YMMV.

I still haven't been to Bittersweet and it is the closest one on this list to my house. Happy to see Potager so high. That's been my favorite the past few years. I'm going to make sure I get to Bittersweet in the next few weeks.

Rioja's is the only one on that list that I HAVE eaten at, and it was very good. I wouldn't call it amazing, but then I wouldn't use that word to describe any restaurants, except maybe this one. (and yes their food and service is as good as their ambience and location)
