I am looking to relocate from the East Coast to Denver. What are some great engineering companies in Denver or the surrounding areas? More specifically Mechanical Engineering related. I am an entry level-mid level engineer.

Thanks for your input.

What is your meaning of "great"? Big firm with good benefits or small with a personal touch? There are a lot of civil engineering firms around, both big and small, but I am not familiar with firms that use mechanical engineers. We have civil, hydraulic, structural, and drainage engineers at the firm where a I work (smallish at 35 employees).

Well I dont know what I mean by "great". It was a poor adjective. I am looking for my boyfriend. I recently accepted a job out in Denver, and we've been dating for 5 years and he wants to make the move with me. However, I am helping him look. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from UVA and since graduation he has worked as a systems engineer. I am not sure how this would relate to civil engineering. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I'm sure Denver has a fine library system. My suggestion is call or email the reference desk, ask them to consult their various business directories and get you a list of firms. I know there is a Colorado High Tech directory in libraries, bound to be one for engineering firms, and many other professions. Making up such lists is a key service of trade groups and data vendors.
