Do you have any favorite houses and/or neighborhoods for viewing Christmas lights in the Broomfield, Westminster and surrounding areas?

This is a great question! We've had a family tradition in the past of spending an evening checking out the amazing home displays in our old city. This is our first holiday season in CO, and being able to continue this would be so great!

Welcome to Colorado! Here's a list that the Denver Post published. It's probably a pretty good starting point. I think we're planning to visit a few of the ones that are listed. I'm hoping to get suggestions for a couple good neighborhoods as well. Even if it's just standard, classy lights. I'd recommend that you visit the Civic Center downtown. It really is spectacular, in my opinion! Denver Metro Holiday Lights Photo Map 2013 : Denver Colorado Neighbors

I drove through McKay on the way home from King Sooper the other day. Lots of very nice displays.

I second the rec for the Civic Center. Broomfield has numerous neighborhoods that really light up. Likewise, Blue Heron Estates in Lafayette goes all out.

In the Broomfield area: Other than our sad pathetic house in McKay (don't have a ladder tall enough to get on the roof!) there are some homes that are decorated in a fun manner. Corner of McKay Park Drive and McKay Park Circle is a good one, as is a few houses on McKay Landing Parkway.

The Butterfly Pavillion on 104th gets my vote - their light display is awesome - 10 out of 10 for whoever sets them up.
