Default (Colfax makes the (International) Herald Tribune

My kid in Paris (who was born and raised in Denver) just sent me a link to an article about the Colfax cleanup. I graduated from East High and spent many an hour at Mammoth Gardens before it became the Fillmore, Pete's Kitchen or the I-hop (is it still there?) and nothing untoward ever happened to me.

oops--messed up my parenthesis

I always enjoy driving down Colfax, looking at all the people. It always seems so lively, but certain parts could use infill.

Apologies to you and everyone else!
I was leaving for work, then got a phone call and spaced everything out!
I should have just waited until later to post the link.
(along with the parenthesis!)
The article that Coloweb posted is the one my kid sent me.
Thank you so much!
I just always had a lot of affection for Colfax, sure it was, um, colorful, but nothing bad ever happened to me during all the time I spent there.

Default colfax redevelopment

Colfax is going through a great period of revitalization right now. I just hope it keeps some of its historic flavor and qwirky attributes. I'd say the Bluebird District is by far the most happening part of Colfax.
