Just curious, was any alcohol served with dinner?

The reason I ask is that when invited to someones home for dinner it is perfectly acceptable to have a couple beers or glasses of wine, but you are frowning at them having a toke. At least they stepped outside.

I've definitely known people who collect various strains and smoke one before going out to dinner, one to go to bed, one to create art or music, etc. Every strain of pot is different and has a different taste as well as high.
Haha.

Well, (a) moving to Colorado in order to get mmj, quickly became a secondary theme in this thread; and (b) you don't get to decide what the thread is about. As I understand it (after being on CD for a long, long time), anyone can go in any direction as long as their posts don't violate the TOS and are at least marginally associated with the OP.

Line maybe had 100 people in it, but was incredibly slow moving. Waiting for an hour and half got me about 15 feet. I'd guess a 3-4 hour wait probably, but didn't stick around. Prices are outrageous, I guess just because they can. But hey, they'll give you a free tshirt.

Did you see what exactly the prices were? Are they the same everywhere?

CNN said $50 for an eighth, but many people had coupons, bringing it down to $25. I think $185/oz. is about the going rate. All the commercial mj-related FB pages (and there appear to be thousands) offer all kinds of offers, deals, samples. If you want a colorful way to peruse all that, open a FB page and start searching on the topic. It's astonishing, really.

Including taxes:
~$80 for 1/8
~135 for 1/4

Shops are only making 3-5 strains available for recreational sales.

Just read a Westword article where their mj guy got an 1/8 for a similar price. 100% increases, at least. It should come down, but who knows when and by how much.

Not even close.

I've heard of zero "deals" being offered.
