Hello,
We recently moved to Denver and renting. Now, we are in the market for a house (budget 350k). After driving around several hours, we really like park view neighborhood in Centennial. Good schools, relatively reasonable price, walking opportunities around, close to work.
I wonder whether I can get some opinion from the community.
Thank you in advance.

Don't know where this is located. Where are closest cross streets or boundaries?

Sorry for not being clear. The intersection is S Picadilly street and E Berry Avenue.
Thank you very much!

Its a decent area, but a tough commute to almost anywhere. One thing you might consider too are houses close by but in Aurora. Aurora address comes with a bit of a discount, a number of realtors have told me in that area a house with a Centennial address can cost more than a similar nearby Aurora home. The school district is pretty much the same so its just a perception issue.

My daughter and her family live in that area, I live a bit north of there, though my address is in Aurora. We find it a very livable area, lots of shopping close by as well as other amenities - great library system, close to Southlands, easy access to DIA via E-470, etc.

Great views too.

There is a park-n-ride at the corner of S. Piccadilly and Smoky Hill that serves the 135 and 139 bus routes. Both go to Nine Mile for connection with the light rail and buses to downtown and elsewhere.

Traffic on Smoky Hill can be a pain AM and PM, but no worse than anywhere else in the greater metro area. Biggest traffic hurdle, I think, is I-225. I avoid that at all costs. When I do drive to work downtown, it's local streets all the way (Tower, Buckley, Chambers to Colfax...)

If the location works for you, it's a good place to live.

Parkview is a great neighborhood, it was on my short list of places to buy but the bigger houses I need rarely come on the market:/. I currently own two houses close by, my "Aurora" address house actually appraises for more per square foot than my "Centennial" house, so not to sure I'd take that advice to heart :/. TigerLily has great input on the commute, same as any other outer suburb.

I guess it depends on where work is.

The commute is the worst part of the whole equation. If work is downtown, I would say find a new place. If work is in the Tech Center, then you are much better off. If work is at home, then you're set.
