Hello everyone!

I live in Denver CO. After an unsuccessful attempt at learning to snowboard from friends last year, I took lessons this spring. I am okay now with Greens and Blues now (but prefer to stick with Greens). Anywho, my question is, when the next season starts I'd like to take a refresher class. I'd go back to loveland for this but their valley isn't open till Nov 20th or so. Anyone know of any other ski place that offers beginner-intermediate lessons mid-to-late October? The things I'd like to focus on in such a class is higher speed turns (and getting off the lift! - I never get this right). Thanks for your help.

October? Pretty much the only ski places that open in October are A-Basin and Loveland, and that's only like 1 white strip of death and mostly a novelty. You can't expect any good snow conditions or services until mid to late November on average.

I see. Thanks. I guess I'll just wait till the loveland valley opens and take a level 3/4 lesson after.

Good call- wait until more terrain opens making it less crowded and easier to learn. You won't have that constant worry that you'll lose an edge and slide into other riders/skiers.
