Default Where to go???

My husband is training in Commerce City for 3 months and we are needing a furnished apartment, house, or condo that could turn into a longer lease if he stays, which we are about 95% sure he will. We don't want to spend more than $1000 a month because his company is paying for the housing for three months. If we do stay in Denver we will also be looking to buy a house. We are in our mid 20s, looking to have children in the next 2 years, can spend about 200-250K on a house, want to be close to shopping and live somewhere that has a great sense of community. We have looked in Westminster, Aurora, Brighton, Thornton, and Arvada...any suggestions???? We are moving from Dallas and only know about the neighborhoods from what is online.

I just moved to Westminster a month ago from Ohio and I love it. Westminster has everything you need as far as creature comforts. Restaurants, stores, plazas, the mall, movies I can go on and on. If it isn't here, Broomfield is right up the road. There was a magazine that came in the mail a few weeks ago that outlines numerous activities, sports, swimming etc that you can do at Westminster city parks and recreation centers. Your husband can take 36 into commerce city and the traffic isn't all that bad going that way. I think you would like Westminster, I know I sure do! It is a nice town for 20-somethings like us.
