Yes, indeed. I forgot to mention that I have these little harnesses for the mice to pull my car out--the bull mice are really strong. You should see them, with their tusks to the ground. Bull mice are really tough because of the muscle development, so a braising cooking technique is needed; I prefer the young females with a saute.

There is an added benefit for bulls that the market for mice tusks is still quite lucrative--the tusks are used to line high-end chastity belts; it seems that the slight upward twist of the tusks prevents penetrations but hold the perpetrator, tight and fast, until discovered by the owner of said property.

Okay, I think LC has officially lost it! LOL! Raising mice for a dining experience and/or high-end chastity belts, hum, is this a Texan tradition? Are you sure the Bull Mice aren't really just big rats? Thanks for the laughs, I think, I hope, for your sake!

Thank you but I deserve not the praise. It is the messed up signals my brain gets from my whining liver. My Psychiatrist says that I suffer from liver neurosis--your liver starts by taking the shape of Napoleon's Hat. The cause is eating excellent rich gourmet foods when you where younger, and now eating too many Mouse Parts. The poor liver is used to better and wants better and starts to complain like a Long Island "Jewish American Princess"--give me this...give me that..that is not good enough....

Livercontent no, I mean Livecontent, shut up. See what I mean; it is always trying to get in on the act.

Or, to solve the mouse problem, throw a couple of snakes in there. Wait...snakes...in a car...??? Has that been done, already?

Default Perspective

Being a recent transplant from Florida, I can tell you that my husband and I still laugh at how mellow the drivers are in Denver. When we first moved here, we were always literally flying by people on the freeway. We would look down at the speedometer and realize we were going 65 in a 55. In Florida, 65 would mean you were driving in the right lane and most likely being tailgated and honked at. It's a game in Florida to see if you can go from the far left lane and then get to the off-ramp, narrowly missing the big containers full of water that will try and stop you from ramming head first into the divider. Tailgating is a way of life there because if you are not on the bumper ahead of you, someone else will wedge their car in front. Red lights...don't make me laugh. I have always heard of the "3 second rule" before moving from a red light but never had to take it seriously until moving to Florida. There, it makes sense to use the "5 second rule".

Having said that, there are jerks everywhere. However, our auto insurance went down $100 per month just because we moved to Denver. We have the same cars, same driving record, etc. That must tell you something about the number of accidents and quality of driving. Most people think they are better drivers than they are, but I certainly wouldn't move out of the city just because you have run into a few idiots on the freeway.

Also, one last thing...we had a neighbor who was shot on the freeway in Tampa, FL, after stopping to argue with a guy who had road rage. If you see someone coming up behind you or darting in and out of traffic, just get out of their way. Sure, sometimes you really feel like hitting the brakes or lining up with the car next to you so they can't get around, but is it worth it in the end? You got lucky that all that happened to you was a verbal argument. The guy in the BMW could have had a gun and it isn't worth it in the end.

the3Ds -- i totally agree with what you are saying... having just moved a few months ago from Florida also, I know you are not exaggerating.
