Your condo must be priced right. I see lots of condos at 300k+ still available these days.

A good buyers agent adapts to the market and helps the clients understand what it may take to win a contract.

Sometimes the unconventional acts pays off.

I think it's more brutal to be a buyer under $300,000. What the broker tells them probably seems fantastical/improbable/fantasy.

Sad enough story at the top here, but some of the comments following it are absolutely mindboggling. Some of these folks vote.

Many renters do not.
They have no attachment to the neighborhood/city/state.

Most people have no understanding of market economies. They only know that "socialism is bad" but, everyone should have cheap rent.

No wonder I have so much trouble making friends.

Congrats on getting your condo listed and multiple offers in such a short time. I think as a buyers agent, it is all about the type of client you take on. If you have a cash client, chances are, they are going to get into a house a lot faster then say a client working some strange loan with little or no money down. Cash is king no matter what market you are in.

I just took a totally unsolicited call from a broker asking if I would consider listing my house. Um, no. Where would I go?

We don't get calls luckily, but we do get flyers on our front door at least once a week from some broker saying "now is the perfect time to sell your home". Considering we just bought the home just over a year ago, we are definitely not ready to move anytime soon.

Sellers agents are probably making a killing right now considering decent quality homes are only on the market for a few days.

I know it wasn't you, 2B. The broker identified himself and his agency. I just think it's interesting, because I haven't taken a call like that since California circa 2004.
