I grew up in the Denver area in the 1980s. It really is a shame what happened to Denver. Last time I went back there I didn't even feel like I was in the state of Colorado anymore. It was like being in San Francisco with snow.

I also grew up here in the 80s. I love the city Denver has become. I also like San Francisco and Denver is not that much like it. Different strokes.....

Just bought a house after 4 months searching and 4 offers being rejected for people buying with cash.

It's been very frustrating but I am happy with my purchase.

Congratulations! We sold and bought a house in October. It was a bit off season which made it a little easier to find what we wanted without multiple offers on it.

I love Denver too but it is nothing like San Francisco IMHO.

What do you not like about the area?

I read his other posts. Seems that all places where there are liberals and minorities present are the same to him.

I have read that Pittsburgh is becoming a big tech hub. If you are in IT you could probably live like a king there.
