I'm married & live in Boulder, but escape for a date with my husband every now and then, sometimes in Denver. I like to wear dresses too. Do you like Anthropologie? I see a lot of that sort of style (and like it myself).

About those stats...something that irks me whenever singles vs. married stats come up is that they don't take into account all the straight couples that are 'living in sin'. THAT is certainly skewing all of the never-married counts. Especially in Colorado, with its oft-misunderstood common law marriages. A lot of couples buy a house, have kids, live as if they were married for DECADES, but they will never show up on the census as 'married'.

Also, about the 'unattractiveness' of Colorado women. Yeah, right. Pot-bellied, gray-bearded, under-employed men are constantly complaining that Colorado women aren't up to their standards. Maybe we don't dress up or wear make-up because we DON'T want to attract you.

One or two percent is in the noise; It's irrelevant.

For comparison purposes, the percentage of people that do this is probably about the same everywhere so subtract X from both sides.
