Default moving back to denver with questions about public schools

I am moving back to Denver from Oregon next summer and I am trying to find the perfect neighborhood for my family. We used live right by Lowry which was great, close to everything, but the public school in our neighborhood (not the new one) was terrible. I want to be close in to downtown but have a great school. By great I don't necessarily mean Cherry Creek district. I want a school where the parents are normal and not all catty and competitive and where the kids are happy. I don't want to be way out in the suburbs, for me that defeats the purpose of coming back to Denver. Any feedback or suggestions would be great. Right we are just worried about elementary schools but middle school not too far off.

What is your housing price range or rental budget?
What line of work are you in?
Where are you going to work?

You should search for and read the earlier posts about schools on this Denver thread.

Default Stapleton

Hi Mamalex -

Stapleton is very nice and close to Lowry. There is a community public school. There is an incredible variety of housing styles/prices since there were 20+ builders. The community has multiple swimming pools, parks, trails, and is close to shopping, etc.

Good luck.
