Wow. Your plans change as fast as our stock market.
![]() That's good, you will be able to see much more and spend the time to see things instead of having a "highway 75 MPH visit." |

Thank goodness. I have planned a lot more to do. I plan on heading up to Thornton City Hall. they have some of the best views of Denver.
There are also a couple tours (Grayline And Colorado Sightseer) that offer 4 hour trips to the Denver Foothills. You get to stop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Lookout Mountain, and either a stop at a place called Buffalo Bills (Grayline) or the Coor's Brewery (Colo. Sightseer). Both charge $40-45 dollars for the 4 hour tours. I might do one of those. ![]() Or, there's the big kahuna (which I didn't think would be open) it's offered by Colo. Sightseer. It's an 8 hour excursion that explores: Red Rock Amphitheatre, Clear Creek canyon, Continental divide, Lunch and shopping in Breckenridge, through the Eisenhower Tunnel, and tour the phoenix Gold Mine. the only problem; it's $75.00 but that includes all admissions prices, lunch, and snacks and sodas. ![]() Daniel |

That sounds great; I wish I could be a tourist for a day here. I am sure you will have a lot of fun.

Thanks. You can be a tourist too. What makes you say you can't?

I have seen many of the places, just not all of them yet. I guess living here I always think I will do "the rest" some day. I guess that when I used to have free time I would visit other cities.
With work and all other ongoing activates it is not easy to be tourist in your own city. I do when family/friends come over. |

You have a point. I've lived in Tucson for just over 4 years, and just got out this past weekend to explore downtown IN DEPTH, so I can agree with that. I posted all my pictures here on city-data.com/forum if you want to check them out. I'm off to bed for now. Will talk more later.

Thanks, I will defiantly check it out. I really love to travel and see different places (and I have done so) but I never made it to Tucson and -honestly - it is not on the list for me to visit.
Anyway, hope you have a great trip to CO. Keep us posted and let me know if you have any other Q’s before the trip. As I mentioned earlier, you are welcome to get in touch with me closer to your trip (I know it is almost here) and I may be able to show you some places around the city if you want. |

That would be great. I am talking with DenverAztec right now about a tour, but I will definitely keep you in mind as well. Thanks,

I would highly recommend getting out to Rocky Mt. National Park / Estes Park if at all possible. Absolutely beautiful.
