That's part of what makes (Casa Bonita) a great place to go! Overpriced, overhyped, crowded, mediocre food, but strangely insane and a lot of fun for some peculiar reason. I think once a year is more than plenty, and usually only when family (nieces and nephews) are in town, but it's still a good time.

Funny, though. "Vile" is how I describe Disneyland. I know it's not a fair comparison, but it applies equally well for me

As a Colorado resident you are required to go to Casa Bonita at least once. It was immortalized in a South Park episode.

I couldn't agree more about Disneyland.

I'd totally forgotten about Casa Bonita. I've been there once many, many years ago. Would it be a good place for a birthday party for 3 year old twins?

Denver and Colorado in general is place where you can find entertainment that fits you uniquely, people that come from other places expect entertainment to be provided for them like Vegas, L.A., or NYC, but Denver isn't like that, people entertain themselves here, they go skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, mountain biking etc, and sports are huge in Denver, plus you'll find great music and great concert venues, but you have to seek it out it's not going to come to you, keep your eyes and ears open, and you'll find what you're looking for, they have some theater here too, I mean what else can you ask for it's all pretty much here except the ocean

My kids love Casa Bonita, but they really don't eat the food.

Is Denver boring? Heck no.

Tons of stuff to do outdoors. Great bars and restaurants. Lots of pro and college sports. Cool museums and art galleries. Plenty of shopping if you're into that too. And of course there's the proximity to the mountains. Love Denver.

Yes Denver is boring! People only find it entertaining because it's there are no cities of comparable size within a 500 mile radius.
