Default Look at the data

Denver moves up a notch on the largest-cities list; Colorado cities among fastest growing - Denver Business Journal

"Denver is now the 21st most populous city in the United States, up from 22nd a year ago, according to the latest U.S. Census Bureau city population estimates.

As of July 1, 2014, the City & County of Denver had an estimated 663,862 residents, up from 648,401 in mid-2013 and 600,025 in the last official census year of 2010, the report says."

For the math-impaired among you.
(663.7-600.0)/4 = 16K people per year moving into the City & County of Denver.

Here's a chart of national prices of what you need to earn per hour to afford a 2BR apt. In Colorado that's $19.89 per hour x 40 hours per week.
