We are under contract for a house in Henderson. My wife was hoping to get transferred to Northfield but there are no openings at this point. There are tons of openings at Flatirons though. Maps have her commuting along E470 to Northwest Parkway but according to my calculations that will be roughly $8 each way. That is one crazy bill at the end of the month! The next best is 120th all the way up. Her commute would be in afternoon rush hour heading East to West and she would get off at night (she only works part time nights and weekends).

How bad is 120th heading west during afternoon rush hour?

Thanks!

It shouldn't be too bad, and would only take marginally longer than the toll roads.

You could also try 144th/Dillon Rd as an alternate, thereby avoiding the 120/US36 interchange, (even after its done being rebuilt).

My partner does Dillon/144th from 287 to Colorado, then down to where we're at near Thornton Parkway. Takes about 30-35 minutes most days at 3PM.

120th is not the most pleasant road to drive on, especially between Colorado/Huron, but it moves OK otherwise.
