Hey, need to move to the Denver area or surrounding area and will be working in Highlands Ranch on contract for a year if lucky. We have a dog and need to rent a 1 or two br dog friendly since my son is coming with. Is a house rental a possibility? Wouldn't mind commute of say 25 mi each way. I know rents have skyrocketed. I lived there in 2005 for several months. Talked to Copper Canyon apartments on ? county line but the rent and fees were too much for what we get. I want to stay in the 800 to 1,000 per month, have a month to month lease, dog park nearby, fairly easy commute, maybe close to light rail (or whatever to downtown), no need for schools, relatively safe. Would you go north to maybe Broomfield or out that way to save money on rent and then make the commute? Or maybe Parker or Castle Rock? Or even Col Springs? thanks for your help!

Find a place in Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lone Tree or Centennial for general piece of mind.

Driving an hour one way to save $ is ridiculous.

Try this search tool

Also you'll want to stay south of, say, 6th Av or even Alameda otherwise the commute will be a killer. (Much as I like Broomfield, I would not commute to HR on a bet !)
